IMO Ball and Roller Slewing Ring
All slewing rings or bearings from IMO have a sealed raceway system, which can be supplied with inner or outer toothing. Bearings can be combined with pinions, planetary gears, and/or motors.
Consisting of a ball or roller slewing ring, a drive train, and a completely enclosed, sealed housing, are ready-to-install systems and supercede procurement of many individual parts. IMO slew drives are used around the world; application areas include the following: As steering transmission in crane traveling gears and heavy-duty transporters, in lift platforms, in grippers, tongs, and other rotary devices in the construction machine sector. In the renewable energy sector slew drives are used for the tracking of parabolic trough power stations, solar trackers, and solar thermal tower plants.
